Adder's Nest

"Be easy on me, buckoes. I like to tell stories but Iv'e onley told one to one or two beasts at a time. But Darktail 'ere wants me to, so I'll tell ye all one. This story takes place when I was still wet be'ined the ears. I 'ope ye all enjoy it. "My grandfather once said that ye should never go near a adder's den, even if somebeast would give ye eight 'undred gold dabloons fer doin' it. He was plundrin' a squirles den when 'is partner found a sack o' coins. Me ol' granfather wanted it, so 'is partner said that if he'd camp in a adder's den, he could have the coins. Me grandfather wern't no fool, I tell ye. But he wanted the dabloons, so he went in the adder's den. It was nightfall when the adder found 'im. My grandfather escaped the den, and he met up with 'is pertner, who said, "Ye failed the test, so ye don't get to 'ave the coins.' The my granfather says, "Ye don't get to keep the coins, an' ye don't get to see sunrise." An' my grandfather slew 'im with an upward thrust of 'is scimitar. That scimitar was passed down to my father, then it was passed down to me. This scimitar that's thrust through my belt has taken the lives of many beasts. Many beasts.
