Jerako
Maziz En'Daerwyn

It is said, sometimes in stories, sometimes in songs and old sea shanty's, that farther south than Floret and Southsward, that there is a castle, a sister building to Redwall, for it was made of the same sandstone.
The legend of this place of evil, is true. 12 seasons back, there was a great ruler, High King Maziz En'Daerwyn. He was the greatest ruler who ever lived there. He kept peace among his kingdom, but was the evillest ruler as well.
"Get back! Rally to me!" Maziz shouted, and his troops ran to the fox king's side as quickly as possible. Maziz was skilled as a warrior, and quickly had his archer's in the front lines, firing long barbed shafts at the opposing foe, the creatures of Southsward.
Maziz had heard of the Foxwolf's death, and had moved North to conqueor Southsward while all the creatures were celebrating. The time was ripe for war.
The King paced up and down his ranks, throwing blows at troops with the flat of his sword blade. It was a stand- off. Gael Squirrelking stood at the head of his army, and, in a sudden rush they broke into a charge. King Maziz smiled grimly, his archers lit fire arrows and fired, slaying every-beast running up front. The King smiled and threw back his head, howling long and loud. It was the signal, immediately the catapaults were loaded and the center of Gael's army was gone, under heaps of burning debree from the giant fire rocks. That was when Maziz ran forth with his sword beasts, and slew every beast in his way. That was the end of the war. Gael was taken back to The Red Castle, and held prisinor.
Maziz sneered at Gael "King eh? I'm a King, you are not you stupid fool! Only a nitbrain would try to oppose my wrath. What is it? Fox got your tongue? hah! You may have defeated Foxwolf but shall never defeat me! For Southsward is mine! And all the Southern Lands!" Maziz sipped wine and chuckled. Gael was weak now, having been starved for over a season and locked in increasingly barbaric conditions. He woul've rather been prisoner of Foxwolf any day than Maziz. The fox lay upon his throne, wearing a fine chainmail tunice and silken red cape with gold embroidery. Gael stared at his shackled paws, recalling how the festivities of his land had been abrubtly halted by Maziz's war. He smiled at Maziz's mate, Sayna. She was the only creature kind to him, and had recently given birth to a tiny babe. The babe was strange although, she had silver fur. Gael shot a hateful glance at Maziz.
Several seasons on...
Gael was free, running north, to his home, with Maziz's young daughter Jerako running swiftly next to him. It was she and Sayna who had set him free, and now she had decided not to return to the horrible castle. After 8 nights if running and hiding, they reached Floret. Immediately Serena and Truffen ran out, and, hugged him, all three crying happily. Jerako stood warily to one side, but was roughly seached by a large otter and her paws bound, he stuffed a gag into her mouth. "What are you doing?" Gael dried "She helped me escape!" Rab undid the bounds and with a gruff sorry. "You'd better be!" Jerako snapped. "I'll have to say good-bye now Gael, it ain't safe here, father will be after me soon, and you, so lock all doors and make sure you have plenty of food in case of a siege" She turned and walked north with-out another word "Wait!" rab called, "Who is you father?" Jerako turned and smiled "High King Maziz En'Daerwyn!" She called, and left for good, bound north. (And would soon come to find Fort Nightshade) Rab gritted his teeth in hatred, and was about to chase down and slay her when Gael held him back "Don't, she helped me" "But she's the offspring of that scum!" Rab spat. "It doesn't matter my friend, she will not harm us"
Yet she did. Hehe The End (They all DIED!)
