Tales of Rizkah: Chapter Five

Rae the Badger was once of a nomadic Badger race, and was rather fond of traveling away from Redwall at least once a season. She usually traveled near the Great Gorge south of Mossflower wood, where the Bluebell flowers grew. She would collect them to make tiara's and capes for the you female dibbuns back at the Abbey. She had just been sitting there resting her sore paws a bit when the sinister shouts came rolling across the plains like wildfire. "Rizkah, Rizkah! Rizkah the Heartless, Killkillkill! Rizkah the Assasin! Killkillkill!" Rae swiftly ran as fast as her aching feet could go towards the Abbey. A group of vermin were in the area. That wasnt good. The shouts seemed to follow Rae as she ran. Rae was greatly afraid of vermin, as her family had been cruelly killed when she was just young Dibbun. Luckily, the old Abbot had taken her in, and the new Abbess was just as kind. As Rae entered the lush green of Mossflower wood, a familiar voice chimed in her ears. "Rae m'gel! How are you, wot wot?" A bumbling brown and white hare came stumbling out of the undergrowth, with a young, limber squirrel following silently behind him. The hare smiled a bit. "Just teaching young Perseus how to shoot a bow and arrow, wot wot?" the hare explained. Perseus smiled cheekily. "No, it was more like I was teaching you!" the squirrel scrambled off as the hare turned a nice shade of pink. "Pink looks good on you, Tibellom." Rae joked. Tibellom glared at her. "Young uns' these days! No manner what so ever, joly old hare minding his buisness just to get picked on by a squirrel chap and a badger gel! Bah!" Tibellom drooped his ears comically. Rae chuckled. "Lets hurry back to the Abbey, I have important news for Abbess Felice." Rae said, suddenly becoming quite urgent. "Righto, m'gel. We'll be there in a jiffy!" and with that both the hare and the badger zoomed down the path to the Abbey looming in the distance.
