(I kno w I'm skipping a lot here but I really wanted to get this one down. This one is the final reconciliation between Silvren and Rellis. Oh and the black is the fox tribe of Silvren's) I was cod hungry and tired and I did not care. I was hunting my brother through the thick foliage of the foreest surrounding Nightshade. i had let my brother escape me once to many times. I was in blind rage. Rellis had taken the person who meant the most to me and I had vowed by my sword Sunslayer that he would now die. Our father had used us but I didn't care now. All that mattered was my brother's death. I ran harder than I had ever run before. Mina's death was replaying in my mind. The guild of the Howling voice had presented her with Sunslayer a sword sid to contain the soul of Abdel Sundark, my mentor. The sword however had seemngly chosen my brother whom I had been able to forgive at last. The only way to settle it was in a duel. With the daggers, Star and moon. Rellis had won leaving the one I had loved lying dead. I had gone against everything Nightshade stood for to partake this mission but like i said, I'm past caring. I can see a cave now and I have been tracking Rellis for two days now all signs lead to here. i run to the cave and stop running, grateful for the rest. I look around then I hear the voice. "Just like you promised. Here we are, here once again." I see Rellis materialize out of the shadoews like a ghost. His expression is grave and he looks so much like the brother I knew once. "Well I don't want to bandy words, shall we settle it here, rellis. I;vehunted you this far. It'd be a shame not to see it end." He sighs. "Are you so consumed with hatred that...No never mind. it should end here and now." He produces two daggers. Star and Moon. "We both have left the guild forever Silvren. Star represents trust and Moon betrayal. Protection and assassination the two faces of the guild. Choose which one you will use." I walk over to him. Without a moment of hesitatin I choose Star. Rellis nods in satisfaction. "I thought you would." He and I stand ten paces from eachother and raise our arms. He says. "Howling voice shadow on the ground." I take up the dueling call. "Howling voice, shadow inthe sky." "Right here right now these blades want to shed blood." "They want to feast on souls. "We are it." I cry the lat time. "The final flash to siganl war!" Rellis then screams my name. "SILVREN!!!" I let fly. Rellis falls backwards the knife in his chest. I nod in satisfaction. "My job is done at last. Brother, revenge is taken." Rwellis struggles to sit up,he yanks the dagger out and buries it uin the wall. "Yes it is Brother do you think i could kill you? Fool,, this knife has no edge or tip." I reel in surprise. "W-wjat are you saying?" He grins coldly. "Poor little Slvren, he was born with the Blacks. Raised with the blacks. Then he lost Mina. Give me Sunslayer." I take the sword from its sheath and lay it in his paw. He gasps in pain as he struggles to speak. "Silvren, our parents our home, our guild, they are gone now. No one even remembers them anymore. Our island is goen now too. You and i are the last of the three tribes. I have never bared you ill will, my dearest brother. I loved you, silvren. From the bottom of my heart. That day when I and Mina dueled it was like today with the same knives. Mina knew that and she...she chose Moon." I reel in shock. The gui;d, those fools... "I deeply regretted it. Killing Mina. I knew how much you loved her. And...Silvren Move!!" I see the flash of metal, the dark form dissapearing and mRellis in my arms and knife in his back. His voice is full of malice. "Fearslay..." I nod slowly. "Nerrok... That bastard I'll kill him and make sure hes dead this time." My attention suddenly turns to the dying fox in my arms. "You saved me rellis...why?" He smiles at me. "Hey what else coukld I do? You're my brother." Then he starts to laugh. "Ha..Ha ha ha ha ha! You're to soft, boy. Yoy didn't believe tht sob story did you?" I am crying now. I have only done so twice in my whole life. I hod my brother close to me as he dies. "Goodbye Silvren. Go back to your for. Its all you have left now. i won't keep it from you anymore. Remember me, brother. Farewell...forever this time. Farewell forever, Silvren Sundark, seer, warrior, son of Abdel, Admiral of Snowstar, lover of Mina Starpaw. Let me sleep now Silvren. I've earned it. Don't try to heal me. I love you brother." I clutch him tight. "N-no. NO! NO! Rellis! RELLIS! Don't die, please.You're all I have left now. Coem back like you always do. The avenging warrior, come back to destroy again. pleaese..." the last word is a plea, a whisper. Rellis smiles at me and slwoly he removes his neckalce, the one he loved. And places t on my neck. "Goodbye Silvren,. You did good, boy but always remember. you stlll couldn't do it. You couldn't catch me. You couldn't...save me..." e clutches my paw. And softly he begins to sing I recognize the song immediately and i begin to sing wiht him. the lullaby my mother once sung to me when I was young. The song we both know well. His paw slips but h is still singing softly. I am singing the song with him now. "The tide would rise one crimson morn. And all behold a land just born The tide goes out the fighters fall. All move with the sea's sirine call If ever that tide would come to stay The balance would end that bloody day." Rellis's paw slips from mine. I look into his face. For the first time in his life peace is on his face. his eyes are sht and his mouth is frozen in a smile. A peace when we are awake we never know. I pick him up I carry him back to the fort. None dare to question me as I lay out the fulneral boat for my brother. I lay him on the wood, his sword the SeaFire is clutched in his paws. I set the boat to sea and before I push I whisper. 'I'll be with you oe day, brother. You and Mina, tell her that for me at Dark Forest." I watch the boat recede and I slwoly pick up my crossbow, I take the torch that was on the ground in the holder and light the bolt I fire it. My aim ios perfect.The boat catches flame and I watch it burn . I watch he tribute until it is gone and I slwoly go inside my fort. Rellis's grave mark sits in the courtyard it reads Rellis Redwave Whom Virtue unites. Death never seperates
