This is one of the few memorys that i have of my home as a young 'un.

"By the fangs of Vulpuz, Skanny! Can't ye do anything right?!?!" Raknix Bloodfur yelled at his sister. He knew very well that in about half a season she'd be able to beat the fur off him, but, the way that he thinks, he'd better make the best of it.
"No, no, no. Your holding the blade all wrong! Here, give it to me." Skant watched her brother with unhidden admiration. As far as the 2 season old vixen knew, her brother was the greatest beast in all the world. She watched him demonstrate a move with the tiny dagger, before getting her blade back. She attempted the move unsuccessfully and ended up flat on her back, giggling uncontrolably. Raknix looked at her with a look of exasperation on his face. "Skanny, it's no laughing matter! You need to learn how to fight and i'm the one to tea-" He ended abruptly as a gentle, but firm voice sounded from the other side of the sand dune that they were on.
"Raknix and Skant Bloodfur, get your sorry tails over here!" Skant ran over the dunes laughing. But Raknix trailed behind, knowing what was going to happen to him. As he reached the top of the dune he saw the stern face of his mother, Starflash. He hesitated but walked down to his mother. She looked down at him, trying to keep a straight face.
"Well, Rakx. What have your father and i told you about teaching Skant to fight?" Raknix looked to his foot paws not saying or doing anything. Skant giggled and he looked up and poked his tongue out at her. "Well?" Starflash asked again.
"Um,um." Raknix stuttered out."Dont teach Skant to fight 'cause she aint ready, an' we are a peaceful tribe, not vermints?" Starflash laughed out loud, "is that a question or an answer?" She paused to see the downcast look on her sons face and laughed again as she held one of his paws with one of hers and grabbed Skant, who was running about stupidly, with the other. Come on, you two." She said," lets go and see your father."
